GENERAL PURPOSE
General purpose baskets are normally simple in design and of all-welded construction. We stock a wide range of the wire cloth usually specified for these baskets...so delivery is usually prompt. Handles may be swing or rigid, frames may be round, flat or rectangular bar stock. Baskets may have nesting handles or stacking clips. Recommended for light to medium service.
TYPICAL CONSTRUCTION...
Wire cloth is resistance spot welded to light diameter rod frame. In some applications heli-arc welding, brazing or soldering may be used.
DEGREASING...PLATING
This type of basket is usually heavy in design and construction reflecting a hard service life. The rod frame is heavy and may have reinforcing rods and dog leg welded joints to improve rigidity. Other features include lifting eyes, hanging hooks, removable liners for part size changes and plastic coating for corrosive service.

ULTRASONIC CLEANING
Made to hold parts and fit your tank. This is an area where a custom made basket will really pay off in cleaning results. Normally made with a solid bottom to increase "Cold Boil" action. Compartments may be fixed or removable; covers (clip-on or hinged) to prevent "Float-Out" are often specified. Any size, any shape.
TYPICAL CONSTRUCTION...
Fast flow sides, solid-inverted bottom with drain holes for fast, complete drainage.
HEAT TREATING
We normally make these baskets from the high-temperature nickel- chrome alloys. Construction details are extra heavy for durability and long service life under severe operating conditions. Special features include push plates, pull handles, runners or lift hooks. Heat treating baskets can also be configured as trays to hold any part. Heavy welded or fold and tie construction, removable screen inserts .
TYPICAL CONSTRUCTION…
No weld, using the fold and tie system. Eliminates stress points, weld joints, etc.
