In most cases, some of your Test Sieves are new and some have been in use. Your Test Sieve probably still works. The wire cloth is still intact — no tears, punctures, etc.…but, does the wire cloth in the Test Sieve still meet the ASTM E-11 aperturespecifications?

The wire cloth in a Test Sieve eventually wears out. The finer the mesh, the quicker the wear. A significant amount of time and effort goes into making your product, it is important that your product’s particle sizing is accurate.
